How to place a bid in CanvasLand’s Marketplace’s launch NFT auctions

Welcome to CanvasLand!

We are excited to launch our marketplace with 2 exclusive NFT collections from the legendary Chen Wen Hsi and Leo Liu. For more details of our launch and the CanvasLand platform, please read here.

If you’re eyeing one of the pieces from our launch collection and are interested in placing a bid, we’re here to help.

Guide for how to bid for an exclusive NFT for auction in our Marketplace:

Step 1: Visit our marketplace: https://marketplace.canvasland.io/. At this point, you may be prompted to connect your Metamask, thus we’d advice you to do so for ease of using our platform not just now but in the future (not to worry, it is completely secure!).

Step 2: If you’re not prompted to connect your Metamask, please ensure you click on ‘Sign In’ button on the top right corner of the page and connect your Metamask accordingly. Do note it has to be a Metamask browser extension at this time. If you need help setting up your Metamask wallet, here’s a handy guide.

Step 3: Once you’re logged in to your metamask, you’re ready to browse around and place your first bid! Click into the collection you’d be interested in bidding for.

Step 4: Click on ‘Bid Now’. You’ll then be led into the Live Auction page.

Step 5: On the Live Auction page, you’ll see: current bid, previous (if any) bids, details of the particular NFT and you’ll get to place your preferred bid price.

Do ensure your bid is higher than the current bid price before clicking on the ‘Bid’ button.

As long as your bid is the current highest bid, it will work. You’re now a part of an exciting live auction for your potential NFT!

Step 6: If you’ve won the bid, you’ll receive a notification that you’re currently the highest bidder for the item.

Step 7: Click on ‘Pay now’ and proceed accordingly. Please ensure you have sufficient amounts in your Metamask wallet for the transaction to go through, while factoring in Gas Fees too!

Once your transaction is confirmed — congratulations! You are now a proud owner of an exclusive new NFT. :)
